The location of the hotel was very convenient, as it was very near everything we wanted to do in the area and within walking distance of downtown. Additionally, it was close to a police station and right next to a historical courthouse, which added a touch of charm.

The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired.

We received some nice compliments upon arrival and could feel the romantic vibes with our partner. The location was very convenient for exploring the town’s attractions and strolling around. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us in the room.

The room was extremely disappointing. It was old and outdated, with cracked walls and dirty carpets.

Manager was available when we got there at about 11:15 pm

I never got informed that there were no 1st floor or handicap room available as requested/required. The musty odor hits you at the front door. At 1st sight you notice the peeling paint, the water stained ceiling cob webs. The stairwell is to narrow to climb utilizing a walker, the chair lift didnt work. Entering the room some type of bugs ran under one of the beds which are to close for comfort. The bathroom was very small and out dated. A walker would not fit thru door. the shower was dingy and to high for a handicapped person to step into. The bedroom carpet was heavily stained. Needless to say, we didn't stay there. I had to pay a cancellation fee which I didn't feel was just. The lady who called herself the manager couldn't not show me the email she said she sent (that I didn't get) and changed her story several times from "I sent you a email on the 13th to your telephone was locked" or something to that degree. The "manager called the company I had booked the reservation with and they exchanged words back and forth. The manager made a very unprofessional remark to the booking agent "you must be from Korea, that is why you can't understand the message". Being African American I took insult to that comment. The arguing about the cancellation fee went on and on, I just paid the fee and wanted to get away. My 88 year old mother-in-law was refused to use the restroom (my daughter in law and my grandson used the bathroom but then my mother in law was struggling to get out of the car when the manager got disgruntled muttering about the hour which was close to mid night by that time, so we left and found a convenience store nearby who was closing but allowed her to use their restroom. I ended up driving to Custer and got a family suite at the Motel 8 that was costly but nice.
